INAP Activities and Five Initiatives

■INAP Activities

 Member ports take turns hosting an annual conference, which offers opportunities for information sharing, economic collaboration, cultural exchange, and networking among its members.

■Five Initiatives

①Knowledge Sharing

 At the Symposium, member ports give presentations on a theme selected by the host port and allows each member port to share knowledge, learn about port operations, and explore innovative solutions to common problems.

        

②Promotion of Economic Exchange

 Member ports visit local companies in the host country, creating new business opportunities.The Port of Kochi hosts a disaster prevention seminar and business meetings for government officials and local companies in the host country alongside the INAP conference to strengthen economic relations.

  

③Global Environmental Initiatives

 The long-term vision of INAP is to contribute to the realization of an environmentally friendly society and a peaceful, harmonious world.
At the INAP 2024 Subic Conference, all member ports signed a Green Manifesto in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aims to further strengthen cooperation among INAP members and promote environmentally friendly port development initiatives by sharing strategies and best practices.

  

④Human Resource Development

 Annual presentations at symposiums and exchanges with other member ports and local participating companies will help participants develop human resources and strengthen their expertise.

  

⑤International Exchange and Tourism Promotion

 Strengthening cultural ties through traditional cuisine, dance, and heritage events.
